Adarsh Mishra rated it really liked it Jul 15, This self-contained text describes breakthroughs in our understanding of the structure and interactions of elementary particles. I’m trying to avoid saying that they are fields because a field is a variable that can be assigned a number or spinor or some such thing; that’s not what I’m getting at here.

Gell-mann in current algebra. In this regard, Griffith’s Introduction to Elementary particlesI think, uses a clearer notation. All of them are dispersed throughout the text, and in many ways they create an unnecessary connecting material between various topics. In the light of that this is perhaps better suited for a graduate-level course than one aimed at the undergraduates, even the more advanced ones.
